Book Your Event at Newstead Community Centre

If you plan to serve alcohol at your event, you must obtain a Temporary Liquor Licence before your booking can be confirmed.

1. Apply for a licence online via the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR).
2. Complete the Register Your Booking Form and upload your licence details.

Your booking will not be finalised until this documentation has been received and approved.

Public Liability Insurance is compulsory for all room hires.

Facilities cannot be hired without appropriate insurance coverage, as this protects both you and the community centre from liability in the event of an accident or damage.

The venue must be left clean, tidy, and ready for the next hirer. Please ensure all rubbish is removed, tables and chairs are returned to their original position, and floors are swept or mopped as required.

Any damage or additional cleaning required may be deducted from your bond.

Submitting a booking request does not automatically confirm your event. All bookings are reviewed by the Newstead Community Centre management team to ensure availability and compliance with hire conditions.

Once your request has been received, you will receive an email confirming that it has been submitted. Our team will then review your application and contact you to confirm or discuss any details.

Your booking is only confirmed once you receive written approval from the centre and any required documents (such as liquor licence or insurance) have been verified.
